Manufacturing Technology-Basic Level

The objective of this training program is to develop industry relevant Knowledge and skills of the trainees to enhance their employability in manufacturing field. The program not only introduces the best practices for operation and programming of CNC Machine Tools (CNC Turning & Milling) but also prepare them for implementation of GD&T parameters to improve quality and productivity using measuring instruments.

  • Review of machining operations, engineering drawing and metrology
  • Limit, Fits, Tolerances and Surface Roughness Symbols
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Health and Industrial Safety in Manufacturing
  • NC & CNC Machines
  • Process Planning for CNC Machined Parts
  • Programming & Operation of CNC Turning Centre
  • Programming & Operation of CNC Milling Centre
  • Creation & Testing of Program with Sinu TRAIN (Simulation Software)
  • Selection of tools and cutting parameters
  • Optimization of CNC Program and Parameters for cycle time reduction and productivity improvement
  • Hands-on CNC Turning and Milling Centres Tooling, Work Holding and other accessories
  • Use of Measuring instruments for quality
